Foreign Ministry:Syria Regrets Vienna’s Move,Welcomes Putin’s Statement

DAMASCUS,(ST)-“while appreciating Austria’s long time commitment to peace in the Middle East .Syria nevertheless regret Vienna’s decision to pull out its contingent from the Golan,” said  a reliable source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry .

The source added that Syria welcomes Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s statement over his country’s readiness to deploy Russian forces in the Golan to replace the Austrian contingent.

In this regard, Syria will fully cooperate with Russian forces.
