US-backed SDF militia kidnaps dozens of civilians in Raqqa countryside

The US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to commit crimes against civilians in villages under its control in the Syrian al-Jazira region. The SDF militants on Saturday kidnapped dozens of civilians in the villages of Raqqa eastern countryside.

According to local sources, the SDF militants stormed several houses and kidnapped 50 civilians to force them to join training in preparation to be recruited within the ranks of the SDF militia.

Last Tuesday, a number of SDF militants raided several houses in al Tabqa city and Sakir village in Raqqa as well as in al- Baghouz town in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside and kidnapped scores of civilians.
