A number of US-backed SDF militants killed in explosive device attack on their car in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- A number of militants, affiliated to the US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were killed on Saturday when an explosive device, planted by unidentified persons, targeted their military car along al-Omar oil field road in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the explosive device went off while the SDF military car was driving along the al-Omar oil filed road, killing and injuring the militants inside the car.

The SDF groups cordoned off the al-Shaheel town where the explosion took place, raided the houses and arrested seven people, including one with special needs, and took them to unknown destination, according to the sources.

On Thursday three SDF militants were killed and scores others were injured in separate attacks by unidentified persons against their points in Hasaka and Raqqa.
