Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to pressure the occupation authorities to release the prisoner, Al-Akhras

Occupied al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community and relevant international organizations and institutions to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to release prisoner Maher Al-Akhras, who has been on a hunger strike for the 84th consecutive day, and to release all the other prisoners as well in their detention centers.

Wafa News Agency quoted the Foreign Ministry as affirming in a statement today that the occupation authorities’ violations of the right of Palestinian prisoners are constantly escalating and the fact that they ignore all demands for the release of the prisoner, Al-Akhras is contempt for the prisoners’ right to life. The Foreign Ministry demanded that the United Nations expose the occupation crimes against the Palestinian people and their prisoners, and hold those responsible accountable

Palestinian prisoner Maher Al-Akhras continues his open-ended hunger strike for the 84th consecutive day, in protest against the continuing Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian prisoners in his prisons, amid extremely dangerous health conditions that threaten his life.
