Resumption of water pumping from the AloukWater Station in Hasakah countryside, after it was cut off by the Turkish occupation

After a full day of cutting off  drinking water for the people in the city of Hasaka and its countryside by the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries, the Alouk water station resumed its work and started pumping water towards the Hamma reservoirs, which takes another day for the water to reach the homes.

The Director of the Water Company in the Governorate of Hasaka, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ekla, said  that 3 horizontal pumps were operated and  13 wells were invested in the Alouk project. He added that the people of Al-Hasakah and the western countryside were resupplied with water according to the applicable rationing program.

On October 16, the Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries cut off water from the city of Hasaka and its western countryside by shutting down the operation of the Alouk water station in the countryside of Ras al-Ain, the main source of drinking water for about one million people.
