Scores of suffocation cases caused by Israeli repression of anti-settlement demonstration in the West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Scores of Palestinians suffered from suffocation today as a result of the Israeli repression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddoum village which demands the opening of the street of the village that has been closed for 17 years to the east of Qalqilyeh in the West Bank.
The Coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddoum Murad Shteiwi told WAFA news agency that the occupation troops broke into the village and used live ammunition and gas bombs against the demonstration causing and scores of suffocation cases.
The village of Kafr Qaddoum has been witnessing weekly demonstrations in protest against the Israeli settlement policy and the racist segregation wall which devoured parts of the village.
