EU denounces Ankara’s new provocations

Brussels (ST): The European Union has denounced the decision taken by the Turkish regime to resend a vessel to the Greek territorial waters thus creating a new escalation in the eastern Mediterranean, noting that it would discuss the adverse consequences of such a decision during its forthcoming summit next Thursday.

France Press Agency quoted the EU Foreign Policy Commissioner Josep Borrell  during his meeting with EU foreign Ministers that the recent decisions taken by Ankara are regrettable and would lead to  new tensions.

Earlier, the Greek Foreign Ministry described Ankara’s decision as a direct threat to  regional and international peace.

The Turkish regime has been pursuing its provocative practices  to neighboring states in implementation of its sinister plans and expansionist greed.
