The Damascus’ Social Affairs Directorate begins implementing the emergency response plan to help the people of Lattakia, Tartous and Homs
The Social Affairs and Labor Directorate in the Governorate of Damascus has started implementing the emergency response plan to help the people affected by the fires in the Lattakia, Tartous and Homs.
On October 11, the first aid truck is to leave from Damascus to Tartous, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to mobilize and organize the contributions of associations, civil institutions, initiatives and volunteer teams.
The Ministry called for associations and organizations to provide their foodstuff , clothes and blankets, electric chargers to give relief as much as possible to the people who were harmed in their livelihoods and properties.
The Ministry called on the associations and organizations to communicate with the directorates of social affairs in the governorates to complete the mechanism for directing the assistance and services to affected families.
