On October 11, the Governor of Latakia, Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem, confirmed that the firefighting teams and civil defense, with the support of the army units and the people,have taken control of all fires in the governorate of Latakia.
The firefighting and civil defense teams continue
with their efforts to cool the sites of fires and smoke spots in the QastalMaaf area in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
