International silence over the Turkish regime’s crimes against the Syrians is unacceptable: Egyptian MP

CAIRO, (ST)- Member of the Egyptian Parliament Elizabeth Abdul Masih Shaker has stressed that the Egyptian people back the Syrians in their war on terrorism and in the confrontation of the attacks being launched by the US and Turkish occupation against Syria.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Shaker condemned the policies being adopted by the President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan against Syria.

“Erdogan is still practicing political thuggery and violating the rights and freedoms of peoples at a time when international laws and charters are supposed to rule the world,” Shaker said. She affirmed that the international silence over the crimes committed by this regime against the Syrians is unacceptable, reiterated that the international community must take decisive measures to put an end to these crimes and punish Erdogan for them.

On the Turkish regime’s aspirations in the region, Shaker said that the Ottoman empire can’t return again, as the region will not allow Erdogan to achieve his ambitions and illusions, stressing that Syria and Egypt will continue to block these attempts.
