Prime Minister asks all concerned bodies to contribute to extinguishing fires in Homs, Tartous and Lattakia countryside

Damascus (ST): Prime Minister engineer Hussein Arnous asked all concerned ministries, firefighting teams and civil defense in all governorates to contribute to putting out the fires that erupted in the countryside of the governorates of Homs, Tartous and Lattakia.

The cabinet said on its Facebook page that the ministers of Agriculture and Local Administration are on the site of the fires to follow up work directly.

Several fires in forests and agricultural lands in Homs, Tartous and Lattakia countryside erupted yesterday in the evening where the firefighting teams, forestry engines and civil defense forces were working in cooperation with helicopters affiliated to Syrian Arab army to control and put them out .
