Tartous culture Directorate launches a short story competition

Tartous,(ST)-The Directorate of Culture in Tartous announced that it will launch of a short story competition in its first session for the category of young writers, with the aim of supporting young talents and introducing them to the public of story and literature.

In a statement that SANA received a copy of, the directorate specified the conditions for applying for the competition, that the age of the participants must not exceed 35 years and that the number of story words should not exceed 1500, as the stories are submitted to the directorate’s office or via e-mail from today until the 20th of this month.

A committee of experienced and specialized experts will judge and select the top three winners and announce their names within the short story festival activities next November.
