Macron: Transporting extremist Syrian terrorists to Nagorno-Karabakh is extremely dangerous

Brussels (ST): French President Emanuel Macron has affirmed that transporting extremist Syrian terrorists via Turkey to fight in Nagorno-Karabakh is extremely dangerous as it can change the situation.

France Press Agency quoted Macron as saying in a press statement he made upon his arrival to Brussels to take part in the EU summit: “We have received information that affirmed the transportation of Syrian fighters belonging to extremist groups from the Turkish city of Ghazientab to Nagorno-Karabakh and this is a very dangerous matter that changes the situation.”

Earlier, the US, Russia and France, the group in charge of mediating in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan issued a joint statement calling for a complete ceasefire and resuming viable negotiations between the two states.

Reports have said that the Turkish regime started to transport mercenary terrorists from north of Syria to take part in the fighting currently erupting in Nagorno-Karabakh district.
