Sayyed Nasrallah: The Americans are working again to revive (ISIS) in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to justify their presence in the region

Beirut, (ST) – The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah,, stressed the need to pay attention to what the Americans are doing in the region again, pointing to their efforts in trying to revive the terrorist organization “ISIS” in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

In a televised speech carried by the Lebanese al-Manar Channel, Nasrallah explained that the United States of America is reviving the terrorist organization “ISIS” in order to justify its presence in the region, indicating that Lebanon is part of the region’s events, therefore when “ISIS” is revived there, this will happen in all countries.

Regarding the situation on the borders with occupied Palestine, Sayyed Nasrallah said that, “on the southern borders, the Israeli enemy forces are still in the highest state of alert, extreme caution and attention, and this is the longest period of time that the enemy forces have lived without daring to move since the occupation of Palestine,” affirming that the resistance’s decision to respond based on events will unfold in the coming days and weeks.

In response to the recent statements of French President Emmanuel Macron, Sayyed Nasrallah said that, “we hope that the French initiative will restore the rethinking the situation. He have not committed ourselves any government and we have not committed ourselves to handing the country over to a government whatever it is. He added that, “we fulfill our promises and commitments,” indicating that what of French President demands is incompatible with democracy”. Sayyed Nasrallah explained that Hezbullah is open to all Lebanese interests and still welcomes the French initiative.

“We must be in the government to protect the resistance, so that the government of May 5, 2008, will not be repeated in Lebanon, and therefore we cannot be absent from the government because of fear for what is left of Lebanon economically and financially and at all levels,” the Secretary-General of Hezbullah concluded.
