Lebanon reiterates its right to resistance to liberate the occupied parts of its territories

Geneva (ST): The Lebanese permanent mission to the UN and international organizations has reiterated Lebanon’s right to resistance to liberate the occupied parts of its territories and defend its sovereignty in light of the continued Israeli violations of its airspace and sovereignty.

The statement released by the Lebanese Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that the Lebanese mission to UN responded to the criticism directed by the Israeli enemy’s envoy at Lebanon and its right to resistance during the current session of the UN Human Rights Council.

The statement added that Lebanon renewed adherence to its right to resist occupation and liberate the occupied parts of its territories.

The statement affirmed Lebanon’s commitment to the UN Resolution No. 1701, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibility and try the Zionist entity for the crimes it perpetrated against the Lebanese and Arab people.
