Tehran,(ST)-Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh affirmed that his country will not conduct negotiations with the United States, whether at present or in the future.
Khatibzadeh said in his weekly press conference today: “There are no negotiations with the United States and there will not be, and what is rumored is for American domestic consumption,” calling on US President Donald Trump to realize that the agreement with Iran “has become very difficult.”
The Iranian spokesman indicated that Iran had more than once put forward proposals regarding regional dialogue, indicating the need to start such a dialogue in the Gulf region.
On the other hand, Khatibzadeh stressed his country’s rejection of foreign interference in Lebanese affairs, because this would not help solve the crisis in Lebanon.
