Health Ministry reports 37 new coronavirus cases, 20 recoveries and 3 deaths

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Syrian Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed 37 new coronavirus cases raising the number of infections in Syria to 4038. The ministry also reported 20 new recoveries from the deadly virus and three deaths.

Coronavirus cases in Syria reached 4038 out of which 1048 have so far recovered while188 have died.

The first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Syria on March 22, for a person who came from abroad. The first death was reported a week later.
