ALEPPO, (ST)_The Armenian humanitarian mission sappers in Aleppo have demined 96.485 square meters on the Aleppo-Damascus highway, according t Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.
The paper quoted the member of Executive Bureau in Aleppo governorate Komit Assi al-Sheikh as saying that the mission delivered to the authorities the area it cleared from landmines, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, remains of artillery shells and missiles.
A total of 280.000 square meters have been demined since the first day of the mission, and 51433 square meters of which were in the southern Aleppo countryside.
Moreover, the mission offered medical services to over 17.000 citizens in Aleppo.
