Damascus – Students from the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades competed on Saturday in the biology tests conducted simultaneously in different Syrian governorates within the framework of the second stage of the Junior Science Olympiad 2023 which is held by the Syrian Distinction and Creativity Agency.
The questions aim at assessing the students’ knowledge and skills in critical thinking.
Leen Qasem, Director of the Syrian Science Olympiad told SANA that the contestants qualified for this stage after passing the tests in first stage, adding that next Saturday will witness the competitions of other contestants in the physics and chemistry tests with the Junior Science Olympiad.
She pointed out that the winners in the second stage tests will qualify for the final qualifiers due to be held next August.
