OCCUPIED Al-QUDS, (ST) _Nine Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation detention are continuing their hunger strike to protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners, amid a deterioration in their health conditions.
According to Ma’an Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Club clarified that the prisoners are Salem Zaidat, who has been in hunger strike for 36 days, Mujahid Hamed and Raafat al-Darawish for 34 days, Kayed al-Fusfous for 33 days, Miqdad al-Qawasma for 26 days, Youssef al-Amer for 19 days, Ahmad Mahhamra for 17 days, Akram al-Fafous for 12 and Alaa al-Araj for 9 days.
The statement indicated that the occupation authorities put pressures on the prisoners to push them to end their strike in various ways such as isolation, preventing them from contacting their families, depriving them from visits, in addition to their frequent transfer from one prison to another despite their deteriorating health conditions.
