9 breaches of cessation of hostilities agreement during past 24 hours

Lattakia – The Russian Coordination Center at Hmeimim Airbase in Lattakia reported that its observers monitored 9 new breaches of the cessation of hostilities in Syria agreement during past 24 hours, raising the total number of breaches to 294 since the agreement came into effect on February 27th.

The Center said in a statement published by the Russian Defense Ministry website that 3 breaches were monitored in Aleppo province’s countryside and 2 in each of Damascus Countryside province, Lattakia province’s countryside, and Homs province’s countryside, SANA reported.

 

The Center also stated that the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out 40 sorties during the past 24 hours which targeted 158 terrorist targets in Syria, killing more than 100 terrorists and destroying 4 tanks, 3 artillery pieces, 4 ammo depots, and 5 vehicles.
