80 Syrian children to take part in camp in Belarus

Damascus, (ST) –  Within the framework of completing the preparations for the participation of Syrian children in the Zubronak Health and Entertainment camp in the Republic of Belarus, the Syrian delegation, which includes 80 children from orphans and the children of the martyrs and the wounded, was left on Wednesday to Belarus.

8 supervisors from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor are with the Syrian delegation.

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mohamed Saif Al –Din said in a statement to reporters that, the aim of holding these camps is to achieve the greatest benefit and integration of children who were damaged as a result of the terrorist war that Syria faced, so that they can overcome its effects and the greatest benefit to them is achieved at the cultural and knowledge levels. He indicated that about 1,000 children were trained in these camps from 2017 to 2022.

In turn, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Belarusian embassy in Damascus, Anatoly Biograngov, said that, the program has great success.

He pointed out that this program is an opportunity for children to exchange their cultural experiences and learn new cultures in a way that helps them to enhance and develop strong friendship between the two countries.

A number of children leaving to Belarus referred to the importance of the camp in terms of reviewing the customs, traditions and the heritage of the Belarusian people. They said that, the visits are of great importance in introducing the civilization and culture of Syrian society and the development of new friendships with the Belarusian children.
