80% of the damaged high-voltage distribution network in Homs is repaired

HOMS,(ST)_Despite the big damage that was caused by terrorist attacks on electricity sector in Homs, workers at the General Electricity Company exerted all possible efforts to rehabilitate damaged areas in order to ensure electricity to the resident there. 
 
32 workers were martyred, 34 ones wounded and 18 ones were kidnapped as they were doing their task of repairing electricity networks, according to a report published by the Syrian News Agency (SANA). 
 
The agency indicated that 80% of the damaged High-voltage distribution network 377 transmission facilities were repaired in the city of Homs and the countryside. 
 
It added that the company works on carrying out the projects of renewable energy in Al-Zaafaraneh town. 
During the ongoing war on Syria, the losses of electricity sector reached 142 billion Syrian Pound.
