75 Syrian children travel to Belarus to participate in a recreational camp

Damascus, (ST) – A Syrian delegation including 75 children, who are sons and daughters of martyrs, accompanied by 6 supervisors from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the schools of the sons and daughters of martyrs, left for the Republic of Belarus on Wednesday to participate in the “Zubronak” recreational health camp.

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munjed stressed that the goal of establishing these camps is to achieve the maximum benefit for children who were affected by the terrorist war that Syria has faced, which helps them overcome the effects of the war and enhances their cultural and knowledge capabilities.

He pointed out that the ultimate goal is to strengthen friendly relations between the two peoples to ensure the continuity of political and economic cooperation.

For his part, Belarusian Ambassador to Damascus Yuri Sloka referred to the great success of the program according to the feedbacks from the participating children, stressing that it represents an opportunity to exchange cultures and experiences, which contributes to strengthening and developing friendly relations between Syria and Belarus.
