Since their liberation by the Syrian army from terrorism in 2017, seven towns in the northern countryside of Der Ezzour have witnessed the return of 75.000 people to their houses after the restoration of main services to different sectors.
According to a report published on Monday by the Syrian News Agency (SANA), seven water stations have re-operated in the liberated towns which have also provided the town with electricity.
Nine irrigation projects are being carried out to support farmers, the report says, pointing out that 3 fuel stations had started working in the towns
As for other sectors, the report affirmed that 8 schools were rehabilitated while 8 others will be rehabilitated in 2022.
Der Ezzour governorate set up a floating bridge to facilitate the movement of the towns’ residents to the city of Der Ezzour.
This bridge will also help farmers to freely transport their crops to Der Ezzour City.
