71 companies take part in “Ramadan Al-Khair Market” Festival in Aleppo

ALEPPO, Mar.1, (ST)-Khan Al-Shuna, an archaeological site next to the Aleppo Citadel, is hosting the “Ramadan Al-Khair Market” Festival, which is an important commercial marketing event that kicked off last evening at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

The festival includes 71 pavilions showing food, clothing, shoes and detergents at reduced prices of up to 40% for some products

During the opening ceremony of the festival, Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Maher Al-Khalil declared that the festival is an important marketing opportunity and an important step to restore the commercial luster of Aleppo Governorate, which is considered the commercial and industrial artery of Syria.

He stressed that the industrial and commercial sectors in Aleppo were subjected to great restrictions during the era of the former regime, adding that the government is currently exerting every possible effort to restore the production and trade movement in Aleppo in a manner befitting its economic history.

For his part, Aleppo Governor Azzam Al-Gharib said that the festival and the large participation in it express the determination of the people of Aleppo to rebuild their homeland and develop economic life in it after years of injustice and oppression.

He affirmed hat the governorate provides all facilities for everything that would lead to achieve progress in Aleppo Governorate economically and bring life back to it.
