70 families return to Homs from Zughra camp as part of the “Caravan of Pride 2” initiative

The management of Al-Wathba Sports Club welcomed today 70 families from the displaced families of Homs, who were residing in Zughra camp near Jarablus. This is part of the “Caravan of Pride” initiative launched by the club last week.

The club’s president, Najib Al-Farra, stated to SANA’s correspondent: “In line with the club’s social and humanitarian role, we facilitated the return of several families from Homs residing in Zughra camp.”

He added “The first Caravan of Pride was launched last week, securing the return of 30 families, and today we welcomed the second batch.”

Abdul Rahim Al-Baqai, who was expelled by the former regime from the Al-Waer neighborhood seven years ago, confirmed that no words can describe his joy at returning to his city, where he grew up and lived.

He expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to this effort.
