OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)_Seven Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails continue with their hunger strike in protest against the Israeli occupation’s continuous crimes against them.
The Detainees and Ex-Detainees ‘ Affairs commission said on Thursday that the hunger striking prisoners are suffering from very critical health conditions which is increasingly deteriorating , posing a threat to their lives in the light of the occupation authorities’ refusal to release them.
The prisoners are Kayed Al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 90 days, Mikdad Al-Qawasmeh, 85 days, Alaa Al-Araj, 68 days, Hisham Abu Hawash, 59 days, Shadi Abu Aker, 51 days, Ayyad Al-Haremi, 22 days and Khalil Abo Arram , 5 days.
There are 5000 prisoners in the occupation jails. Some 600 of these prisoners need urgent treatment.
In another development, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 2 Palestinian young men in south Nablus in the West Bank.
