Terror attacks kill 5, wound 11 in Homs and Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terror attacks killed on Tuesday 5 civilians and wounded 11 others in Homs and Damascus, according to media sources.

The sources said terrorists fired three missiles on al-Sabil quarter in central Homs province, killing 5 civilians and wounding three schoolchildren.

The three schoolchildren were wounded when two missiles hit near elementary school in the quarter.

On September 17th, terrorists fired several missiles on Wadi al-Dahab quarter in Homs city, wounding 18 civilians.

Another terror attack ripped through Damascus.

A police command source declared that a mortar round-fired by terrorists- landed in the ‘Baghdad’ Street in the capital [Damascus], wounding 4 civilians and leaving damages to the ‘Abdulrahman al-Seddeq’ Mosque and several cars in the site.

“Four civilians including a 5-year-old girl were wounded by the mortar fire,” the source confirmed.

It added that more 4 civilians were wounded by mortar attacks on al-Ehda Ashareyeh and al-Zablatani quarter in the same province [Damascus].

Yesterday, terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to a car in Rekneddin quarter and launched several mortar rounds on Mazzeh 86 quarter in Damascus, killing a civilian.

“Between August and September, some 1887 terrorist attacks killed 296 civilians and wounded 1487 others, including children and women, in Syria,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a letter sent to the United Nations on October 2, 2014

The US, France, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar support the terrorist organizations operating in Syria.
