685 industrial facilities resume production in Aleppo since 2014

Since the liberation of the industrial city of Al-Shiekh Najjar in Aleppo province, 685 industrial facilities specialized in textile, food, engineering and chemical sectors and software industry have returned to production  , according to Director of the Industrial City Eng. Hazem Ajjan. 
 
Ajjan’s remarks came during the meeting held today between  Ziad Sabbagh ,minister of Industry  and the Board of Directors of the industrial city in Aleppo. 
 
The meeting dealt with the situation of investment and measures being adopted to facilitate the production process in the facilities. 
 
Sabbagh affirmed that the government works with private sector as one team to remove the obstacles that face industrialists and increase production to confront economic pressures. 
 
The industrialists called for issuing laws and legislations to facilitate exportation to nearby countries and solving the problem of electricity and fuel to operate the facilities. 
 
The Syrian army liberated Al-Sheikh Najjar Industrial City in 2014.
