Competitions of the Syrian Science Olympiad 2023 kicked off on Saturday with the participation of 6800 students from different Syrian provinces.
Tests within the first stage were held over 1 hour and a half simultaneously in all the Syrian governorates. The tests included unified questions in mathematics, physics, chemistry and informatics in addition to special questions for participants in biology tests. The aim is to measure the students’ skills in critical thinking and logical judgment.
Participants must pass two stages before reaching the finals which will be held at the country’s level.
