65% of industrial establishments are recovered

The official statistics issued by the Ministry of Industry has stated recently that 65% of industrial establishments and factories have come again into action and production.

The number of the factories and establishments operating in all Syrian governorates reached 82 thousand. The Ministry of Industry underlined the necessity of casting light on the production specializations in order to meet requirements and needs of the local market, serve interests of the producer and the consumer and delete the obstacles facing the exportation sector.

It isn’t necessary for each establishment to produce and work as the previous because the local market has witnessed great changes in consumption. It is necessary to cooperate with owners of the factories and establishments to study the situation and prerequisites of the local market and the available procurement potentials.

The Chambers of Industry are concerned and trying to implement a plan different to the pre war one.
