65  companies participate  in the sixth session of the Servex Forum 2021 in Damascus

Damascus (ST):  With the participation of 65 local, Arab and international service companies from Iraq, Jordan, Iran and Egypt, the activities of the sixth session of the Business Men and Women Forum, Servex 2021, kicked off at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, under the title “We meet to to better ourselves”

The forum aims at building partnerships with businessmen visiting Syria and trying to overcome all the difficulties facing trade exchange between Syria and the neighboring countries.

According to Khalaf Mashhadani, Director General of the Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, the forum, which will last for three days, includes  bilateral meetings between the participants and specialized lectures and interventions on the services provided by the participating companies in a way that contributes to conveying the true picture of business reality in the Syrian economy at this stage.

In turn, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, head of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, expressed hope for opening the crossings between the two countries and for money and goods to move  between them easily, which would contribute to the re-development of the Syrian economy in a greater way than it was before the war, referring to the issuance of a decision in Iraq today allowing the entry of Syrian goods through transit to the rest of the countries, noting that  this is a good start for promoting Syrian goods from Iraq to the world through five Iraqi outlets that allow the entry of transit goods.

President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Muhammad Abu Al-Huda Al-Lahham underlined the importance of the forum in terms of Arab participation, considering it a new beginning for cooperation and joint trade exchange to deepen economic relations and integrate markets, stressing the endeavor to remove any obstacles in the way of transport, import, export and banking exchange operations in a way that shortens time and distance.

Among the participants, Rania Abu Sa’ad, Executive Director of the Syrian Computer Society said that”we participate in the forum to introduce the information and communication technology services provided by the Society , which is an important supporter of the business sector.”
