60% of forest fire in Lattakia countryside controlled, says Joint Operation Room

LATTAKIA, MAY.10, (ST)-The Joint Operations Room, which is composed of the Ministries of Emergency, Agriculture, Interior, and Defense, has confirmed that more than 60% of the forest fire in the Rabia area in Lattakia countryside are controlled.

It added that winds are expected to play a decisive role in extinguishing the fire in the coming hours.

The photos show the ongoing efforts to extinguish the fire throughout last night.
