6 Katyusha rockets target a US military base at Baghdad International Airport

Baghdad (ST): At least six Katyusha rockets targeted the US Victoria base in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport at dawn today, causing material damage.

 

An Iraqi security source told news reporter in Baghdad, “Some of the missiles fell on the civilian runway of Baghdad International Airport, causing damage to a number of civilian aircraft, and others on the American Victoria base, whose damages were not disclosed.”

The source confirmed that the Iraqi air defense missile system stopped a number of the remaining missiles.

On the fourth of this month, four Katyusha rockets targeted the US Victoria base in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport.
