There are currently 514,017,628 confirmed cases in 226 countries and territories . The fatality rate is still being assessed.
 
The United States is still the most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 1020919 deaths out of 8319468 infections, followed by India with 523,869 deaths out of 43085,166 infections, and Brazil third with 663,567 deaths out of 30454,490 infections.
