5th Job Opportunities Forum kicks off in Damascus

The 5th Job Opportunities Forum for Training and Employment, was launched at the Damascus Sheraton Hotel on Monday with the participation of more than 120 companies working in various specializations.

The event was organized by the Al-Bajaa Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

The three-day forum aims to secure job opportunities in various specializations , including in the educational, medical, engineering, industrial, chemical, food, technology, banking, insurance, shipping, beauty domains and others.

The forum is a platform for communication between employers and job seekers. It is also a way to attract cadres from various specialties to serve the labor market in Syria, according to Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Anas Al Dabsh.

For his part, Head of the Al-Bajaa Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences Nabil Marzouk, pointed out that the forum aims at attracting graduate students, qualifying and training them, and contributing to the reconstruction of Syria and maintaining its scientific competencies, especially after the terrorist war that the country has faced.
