5 people martyred, 7 injured in an Israeli aggression on Syria’s central region

A military source yesterday said that the Israeli enemy launched a missile attack against some points in Syria’s central region. Five people, including a civilian, were martyred and 7 citizens were injured in the attack, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The news agency said citing a military source “At 8:20 p.m. on Friday, the Israeli enemy fired missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean, west of the Syrian city of Banias, targeting some points in the country’s central region. Our air defenses confronted the missiles and downed most of them.”

 The airstrike killed five people, including a civilian and injured seven others, including a child, and caused some material damage, the source added.
