5 moderate and light tremors recorded during the past 24 hours
Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that the monitoring stations recorded 5 tremors of medium and light intensity during the past 24 hours.
The Center stated in its announcement that the tremors recorded during Tuesday, and until this morning, were distributed as follows: two tremors in Turkey at a magnitude of 3 and 4.4 on the Richter scale, a quake in Alexandretta coast at a magnitude of 2.5, a tremor in the Mediterranean Sea (Crete) at a magnitude of 3.5, and a tremor in the sea, 40 km northwest of Lattakia, about with a magnitude of 1.7.
