5 citizens martyred, more than 40 other injured, in explosion of landmine left by terrorists in the countryside of Deir Ezzor 

5 citizens were martyred and more than 40 others were injured because of the explosion of a landmine left over from the terrorist organization “ISIS” in Kabajib area in the southwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor stated on Thursday that a landmine left by ”ISIS” terrorists exploded in a truck carrying a group of citizens while they were going to search for truffle mushrooms in the Kabaj area in the southwestern countryside. The explosion caused the death of 5 people and the injury of more than 40 others who were taken later to Al Assad hospital.

Director of Al Assad hospital in Deir Ezzor Mamoun Hayza told SANA reporter that the hospital received more than 45 people who were transported by the truck that was hit by a mine explosion that led to the death of 5 and the injury of the others at various degrees. One of injured was in a critical condition, he added, noting that necessary first aid was provided all the injured.

Last Monday, 10 citizens were martyred and 12 other were injured when two mines left by ISIS terrorists exploded while a group of citizens was on their way to search for truffle mushrooms near Salamiyah city in the eastern countryside of Hama.
