48 Palestinians martyred in three days of Israeli aggression on Gaza
Four Palestinians were martyred on Wednesday in the Israeli occupation airstrikes on the central and southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip, raising the number of the victims of the new Israeli aggression to 43, not to mention the huge destruction to the Palestinians’ properties and infrastructure.
WAFA news agency reported that the occupation warplanes fired several rockets on Al-Sabra neighborhood in the center of Gaza, while the Israeli artillery shelled south of Beit Hanoun city in the south of the strip, claiming the lives of four Palestinians and causing huge material damage.
“Three days of Israeli bombardment of Gaza Strip has so far killed 48 Palestinians, including 14 children and three women, while 304 Palestinians were wounded,” the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in an update on the casualties.
Two Palestinians were wounded in Beit Lahia to the north of Gaza in an Israeli airstrike while a residential building in Al-Nafaq Street in the center of the strip was destroyed in another strike.
The occupation gunboats also bombed Gaza shores.
The occupation rocket fire hit a motorcycle in Khan Younis in the south of the Strip and a car in Beit Lahia in the north of it, killing four Palestinians and wounding others.
The Israeli machinegun fire also targeted Palestinian farmers in Khazza’a area in the east of Khan Younis, killing one of them and wounding three others.
Three Palestinians of one family were martyred and three others were wounded this dawn after the Israeli warplanes targeted an apartment in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in southwest Gaza.
Wednesday morning, the occupation air force conducted 40 airstrikes at the same time against areas in the west, north and south of Gaza, destroying the Palestinians’ houses, properties and infrastructure.
Three Israeli soldiers killed in resistance fire
Meantime, three Israeli soldiers were killed and a fourth one was injured after the Palestinian resistance targeted an Israeli occupation military vehicle with a “Kornet” missile in the south of Gaza. The resistance also fired mortar rounds on the occupation’s positions in the outskirts of the strip and attacked with rockets the Israeli settlements around the strip and in the cities of Askalan, Beir Al-Sabe’ and Asdoud.
The resistance’s moves come in retaliation against the Israeli occupation constant crimes against the Palestinian people.
In addition, two Palestinians were martyred, dozens others were wounded and 32 were detained this dawn during the Israeli occupation raids on different parts of the West Bank.
Palestinian media outlets reported that the occupation forces raided Al-Fawwar Camp in the south of Al-Khalil city as well as on the towns of Tobas and Bita in Nblus. They opened fire and toxic gas on the Palestinians, claiming the lives of Hussein Atieh Al-Titi, 26, and Rasheed Mohammad Abu Arra, 16, and causing injuries to dozens of Palestinians.
The occupation forces also stormed Al-Mahd Square in Bethlehem as well as the village of Marah Rabah to the south of Bethlehem and opened fire on the Palestinians, causing injuries to nine of them and destroying many Palestinian vehicles in the areas of Bab Al-Deir and Al-Maslakh in the city.
Five Palestinians were also injured after the occupation forces stormed Jenin camp in the south of Jenin city and opened fire on them.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation detained 32 Palestinians, including a journalist, during raids on the cities of Qalqilya, Ariha and Toulkarm and on several towns in Bethlehem, Nablus, Jenin and Al-Khalil.
