4,600 tons of domestic gas arrived at Banyas oil terminal

TARTOUS, FEB.1, (ST)-Today, a gas carrier arrived at the oil terminal of the Syrian Oil Transport Company in the city of Banyas carrying 4,600 tons of domestic gas.

Head of the Downstream Department, at the Syrian Oil Transport Company, Eng. Majd Al-Sini, said that the company’s cadres began the process of unloading the “Catilina Gas” carrier which is loaded with 4,600 tons of domestic gas, after the “Baniyas” Gas Department approved the results of analyzing the arrived gas’s samples.

It is noteworthy that the sea terminal of the Syrian Oil Transport Company in the city of Baniyas received the first domestic gas tanker on the 12th of January of this year, after the downfall of the former regime.
