460 militants and some of their families’ members leave al-Waer neighborhood

Homs – More than 2300 militants along with some of their families’ members left al-Waer neighborhood in Homs on Tuesday in the framework of implementing the reconciliation agreement in the neighborhood and in a step for ending all armed manifestations in Homs city.

The evacuation of the 10th batch of the militants, which started on Monday, is continued, adding that 50 buses transporting onboard 2350 persons, among them 460 militants, left the neighborhood towards Idleb, SANA reported.

 

SANA pointed out that by the evacuation of the 10th batch of militants, which is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday noon, the neighborhood will become virtually free of the militants and all armed manifestations as the evacuation of the last batches of gunmen is scheduled to be accomplished by next Saturday in preparation for the return of the state institutions to the neighborhood.
