45-member mini body of the Constitutional Committee on Syria Begins activities

The mini-committee emanating from the constitutional debate committee began its first session today in the United Nations headquarters   in Geneva with the participation of the delegation supported by the Syrian government and other delegations.

SANA’s delegate to Geneva stated that the meetings of the 45-member mini-committee, which comprises 15 members of the Syrian-backed delegation, 15 members of the other parties and 15 members of the civil society delegation, will be closed to the media.

Last Friday, the expanded commission of the constitutional committee agreed on the members of the mini-committee and approved the code of conduct and the procedures governing the work of the expanded and mini-commissions.
