41 Greek municipalities raise the Palestinian flag on their headquarters on the Nakba 75th Anniversary 

Athena (ST) – On Monday, 41 municipalities in Greece raised the Palestinian flag on their buildings in solidarity with the Palestinian people marking the 75th Anniversary of Nakba.

Wafa News Agency quoted Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Greece, Youssef Dorkhom, as saying: “This noble solidarity consolidates the bonds of historical friendship rooted between the Greek and Palestinian peoples. This solidarity based on the common values of democracy, human rights, justice and peace, and the defense of the principles of law and international legitimacy.”

Dorkhom expressed his gratitude to the mayors and members of the municipal councils for their response to the embassy’s request to raise the Palestinian flag on municipal buildings in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Nakba.
