40 lectures with different specializations at the annual scientific conference of the Syrian Association of Plastic Surgery
Damascus (ST): Surgery and cosmetic treatments for the face and body, and treatment and restoration of burns, congenital malformations, and skin tumors were the most important themes of the annual scientific conference of the Syrian Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgery, which was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Damascus.
The conference aims mainly to convey the latest developments in plastic surgery to specialist doctors and residents, according to what was explained by the President of the Syrian Association of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Wael Al-Barazi, noting that the scientific program includes 40 diverse, integrated and new lectures in different specializations.
In turn, the Head of the Plastic Surgery Division at Ibn Al-Nafis Hospital, the Secretary of the Association, Dr. Rizk Al-Farooh, explained that his lecture sheds light on reconstructive surgery, and closing the palate reef through the use of a slice of the tongue to close the opening, noting that this process is difficult and troublesome for the patient and is used in the absence of good results by using other methods of treatment.
Dr. Firas Zreiki , a specialist in plastic surgery from France, will participate in the conference with two lectures. The first talks about regulating the laws of the plastic surgery profession and how to control them, while the second talks about modern techniques in restoring the aftermath of burns with high technology to restore the skin to its natural state.
