40 industrial companies participate in the  charity festival in Tartous

Tartous (ST): A charity festival was held where  materials and various food products such as cheese, dairy, sweets, drinks and food powders, in addition to textile products, detergents and leather were  provided by about 40 industrial and commercial companies from Tartous Governorate and a number of Syrian governorates. The festival was  held by the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the old city hall on the sea cornice and it will last until the 8th of  July.

Tartous Governor, Lawyer Safwan Abu Saada, in his statement to reporters  said that  the festival, which comes on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Adha,  is the third of its kind in the governorate after the one that was held in Baniyas recently and the other that was inaugurated  last week in the Festival Square on the sea cornice, adding that the aim of these markets is to help families to buy their needs with the approaching Eid Al-Adha.

In turn, Mazen Hammad, head of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry, pointed out in a similar statement that this market is a continuation of the festivals and markets started  by the Chamber in cooperation with the governorate and economic and civil activities to provide products and goods at discounted prices less than foreign markets by about 30% to reduce the material burdens on the shoulders of the citizens.

A number of the owners and delegates of the participating events considered that the main advantage of these economic activities is to identify directly the opinions of customers and consumers of these goods, as Ibrahim Balloul, agent of one of the dairy and cheese producing facilities, said, considering their first participation starting from the consumer to know his needs and provide goods that are commensurate with his income and receive his acceptance.

Arwa Al-Issa, a delegate of one of the industrial companies specialized in the manufacture of detergents, indicated that their first participation outside the city of Damascus in order to expand the targeting market and introduce their products .
