39 Weak earthquakes recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that the number of tremors recorded during the past 24 hours until 8 am today amounted to 39 weak tremors.

The National Seismological Center stated in a statement  that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded an earthquake 33 km northwest of Latakia, measuring 3.2 degrees on the Richter scale, a magnitude 3 earthquake, 56 km east of the city of Hasakah and an earthquake northwest of Palmyra, 76 km with a magnitude of 2.8. .

The center added: 20 earthquakes were recorded in Iskenderun with a magnitude between 1.5 and 4 on the Richter scale, and 16 in the Turkish mainland that range between 2.1 and 4.8 magnitude.
