39 Palestinian female prisoners suffer from difficult conditions in Israeli jails

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission affirmed that female prisoners are suffering from difficult conditions as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against them.

The commission was quoted by WAFA as saying that the 39 female prisoners face the most horrific forms of torture in the occupation’s jails, including deliberate medical negligence.

It clarified that the prisoner Esraa Al-Jaabis suffers from severe burns and needs urgent surgery, while Rawan Abu Ziada suffers from an unknown germ in the digestive system and problems in the stomach.

There are other female prisoners who are also suffering from health problems and different diseases.

The prisoner Nahar Hajja, who was arrested by the occupation forces while she was pregnant, suffers from Astheni.

About 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
