On June 2nd, 37 writers from the Syrian Al-Wajeez Writer Forum presented literary works to a number of writers, including short stories were characterized by varying topics in the Cultural Center in Abu Rumana.
The two -day sessions returned after an absence due to the conditions resulting from the Corona pandemic, where the participants’ works were dominated by the emotional nature and tendency.
The Supervisor of the Forum Ali Al-Ra’i, satated: “We held these sessions to reflect the interaction of the cultural street with the pain of the Syrians’ aspiration for salvation and their hope for the future, in addition to celebrating music with literature and plastic art.”
The plastic artist, Rabab Ahmed, Head of the Abu Rummaneh Cultural Center, said this forum is an important event in the cultural arena, because it helps promote authentic Arab literary art that was present in our heritage and then disappeared.
